- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Combine flour, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper in a shallow dish.
- Dredge chicken in flour mixture then shake off excess.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chicken and cook for 5 minutes on each side or until browned. Remove chicken from skillet and set aside.
- Add onion to skillet and sauté for 2-3 minutes, or until tender. Add mushrooms and sauté for 3-4 minutes longer.
